Currie’s theory is based on new evidence from a remote corner of Mongolia, where paleontologists have unearthed the remains of 90 Tarbosaurus dinosaurs – the Chinese T-Rex -- in one region of the Gobi Desert. Dr. Currie believes that many of them, found close together, were part of a single social group.

Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story - Premieres July 18 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime

The unauthorized biopic, based on a biography by Sean Smith, chronicles the British author's struggles from single mother on welfare to become one of the world's wealthiest women. The movie starts with J.K. Rowling's (Poppy Montgomery) modest upbringing and follows her rise to fame and wealth as the author of the beloved Harry Potter children's books, with over 400 million copies sold across the globe resulting in a billion-dollar film franchise.

Hell's Kitchen - Season Premiere July 18 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on FOX

Aspiring restaurateurs will brave Ramsay and his wrath as he once again puts the competitors through rigorous challenges to see who has the skill and passion to win a life-changing prize: a head chef position at BLT Steak in New York City.

Ramsay’s culinary challenges will range from the cute and cuddly as the chefs cook a “mommy and me” meal for a room full of moms and toddlers – to the sublime as the chefs are challenged to cook using different types of beer as the basis for their recipes. The winning teams will get to enjoy a private jet to Palm Springs, Indy-car racing, a $20,000-per-night suite in Las Vegas or a four-story yacht excursion, while the losing teams will be required to decorate for a high school reunion, take delivery of and butcher an entire side of beef, create ice sculptures and put together an entire children’s playground for family night.

In the season premiere, Ramsay launches the competition with the signature-dish challenge and is both impressed and disappointed right from the start. Before the dinner service can even begin, one contestant is rushed to the hospital and things go downhill quickly from there until one chef is eliminated from HELL’S KITCHEN.

Mann v. Ford - Premieres July 18 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on HBO

The Ramapough Mountain Indians have lived in the hills and forests of northern New Jersey, less than 40 miles from midtown Manhattan, for hundreds of years. In the 1960s, their neighbor in nearby Mahwah, the Ford Motor Company, bought their land and began dumping toxic waste in the woods and abandoned iron mines surrounding their homes.

MANN v. FORD tells the story of a small community’s epic battle against two American giants: the Ford Motor Company and the Environmental Protection Agency, which failed to ensure that Ford cleaned the land of deadly toxins and erroneously declared the community safe and clean of toxic waste.

Deadly Women: Killer Countdown - Premieres July 22 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on Discovery

Femmes fatales, twisted sisters, desperate damsels: there’s no shortage of these DEADLY WOMEN in season five of Investigation Discovery’s cheeky hit series about women who kill for thrills. While male murderers are often driven by anger, impulse and destruction, women usually have more complex, long-term motives. Featured interviews with former F.B.I. criminal profiler Candice DeLong help viewers distinguish between the emotionally-charged impulses and sociopathic intentions that lace each story. There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane - Premieres July 25 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on HBO

On Sunday, July 26, 2009, Diane Schuler left the campgrounds in upstate New York where she was vacationing with her family and set off towards home on Long Island, a drive she had made numerous times before. With her were five young children: her son, her daughter and three nieces. Four hours later, she drove the wrong way on the Taconic State Parkway for nearly two miles – eventually crashing into an oncoming SUV, killing herself and seven others. One of the worst motor-vehicle accidents in New York State history, the tragedy quickly became national news and her actions on that day, and in the past, were thrust under a microscope in a desperate search for answers.

In the aftermath, Diane Schuler was portrayed as a reckless drunk and a mother who cracked. But was she the monster the public made her out to be? Or the perfect wife and mother described by so many who knew her? The film explores this puzzling tragedy through interviews with never-before-heard witnesses and with Diane’s friends, as well as chronicling what transpired minute-by-minute.

 

Project Runway - Ninth Season Premieres July 28 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime

In the show’s 90-minute format, the new crop of designers will encounter host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia and top-name guest designers and judges from the worlds of fashion, film and television, including Kim Kardashian, Christina Ricci, Zoe Saldana and Malin Akerman, as they face inventive challenges, unexpected eliminations and other surprises along the way.

In a Project Runway first, during the premiere episode, 20 designers must go in front of Heidi, Michael, Nina and Tim to make a case why they deserve one of the 16 coveted spots this season. Once they are chosen, the 16 designers barely have a chance to celebrate before being awoken at the crack of dawn with one of the toughest first challenges in the series’ history. Filmed on location in New York, each episode will feature more couture creations and fashion flubs as the designers attempt to make the cut to show at New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center.

LA INK - Season Premiere July 28 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on TLC

The new season follows renowned tattoo artist Kat Von D and her tattoo shop High Voltage. From taking on a new roommate to hosting a benefit for Japan, Kat’s life has no shortage of excitement or drama.

The upcoming season will focus on the last nine months of Kat's life in which she has had a successful gallery opening, a whirlwind book tour, survived a devastating house fire and got engaged to her soul mate, Jesse James. Art also unites a community when Kat and her shop host a benefit for Japanese earthquake victims.
