Man, Woman, Wild - Season Premiere September 2 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on Discovery Channel

Imagine the heated discussions you have at home with your significant other about where to go for dinner or whose turn it is to take out the trash. Now imagine being stranded in the middle of the wild with no food, no water and in miserable conditions. The conflicts turn from whose turn it is to pick the restaurant to what grubs are edible and whether the water is clean enough to drink.

In the second season of MAN, WOMAN, WILD, the stakes are higher and the misery compounded as the husband and wife team must: find their way out of the flooded Amazon jungle, make fresh water from raisins while lost at sea, navigate through a raging forest fire, escape from a glacial crevasse, trap wild boar and make fire with ice. From the Bermuda Triangle to the jungles of Columbia, from an abandoned town at the base of an active volcano to the center of a massive cave in Croatia, Mykel and Ruth put their survival skills – and their marriage – to the ultimate test.

In the kick-off episode, “Lost at Sea,” the duo takes on a formidable challenge: their rented boat breaks down 20 miles off the shore of the Bahamas in the Bermuda Triangle. They have no choice but to make use of what they have aboard and wait for days to be rescued. Solar stills and raisins turn salt water into fresh water. Mykel fights to retain as much hydration as possible as he is on the verge of vomiting from seasickness. Times turn desperate and Ruth knows she must take action. She thinks fast and salvages what she can from the boat to do something that would make most women cringe: administer an enema to her ill husband at sea. * PICTURE UNDER: MAN-WOMAN-WILD.jpg

Dinosaur Revolution - Premieres September 4 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on Discovery Channel --- 2 hours tonight and 2 hours next Sunday.

DINOSAUR REVOLUTION makes its world premiere on Discovery Channel Sunday, September 4 and Sunday, September 11 from 9-11PM ET/PT each night.

Vividly illustrated by an A-team of animators and illustrators, the series drops viewers directly into the Prehistoric era to showcase dinosaurs in all their living, breathing glory.

As DINOSAUR REVOLUTION illustrates, dinosaurs were far more active, complex and colorful than ever imagined -- more like birds than sluggish reptiles. The series transports viewers to various points of place and time to highlight a host of new behaviors, including exotic mating dances (Gigantoraptor, a dinosaur resembling a 17-foot tall turkey), the inner workings of T-Rex’s nuclear family (Tyrannosaurus Rex, who was anything but dull and slow), and the underwater birthing of a huge marine reptile Mosasaurus. DINOSAUR REVOLUTION will also introduce new creatures like a Jurassic flying squirrel (Volaticotherium) and frogs so big they could eat dinosaurs (Beelzebufo).

CMT brings inspirational stories to life in a new four-episode series to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of 9/11. Genelle Guzman-McMillan, Ron DiFrancesco and John Yates’ lives were forever changed when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The first one-hour episode of ANGELS AMONG US takes an awe-inspiring look into their individual miracles of survival, with touching stories that can only be explained by acts of divine intervention.

Guzman-McMillan was on the 13th floor of World Trade Tower One when it collapsed on top of her. As hope faded, she believes an angel held her hand until she became the last victim pulled from the rubble 27 hours later. DiFrancesco was one of only two survivors from Floor 84 of Tower Two, escaping death after he heard an otherworldly voice urging him to run into the fire. At the Pentagon, Yates pushed through massive injuries towards safety with the help of something extraordinary.

ANGELS AMONG US features everyday men and women who believe they were delivered from tragedy through angelic encounters. The true-life stories will be told through interviews with the survivors, eye-witness accounts and reenactments. Ranging from catastrophic car crashes to tornadoes, debilitating illnesses and the biggest terrorist attack in U.S. history, the show focuses on the tales of triumph told in the survivors’ own words.

The Vampire Diaries - Season Premiere at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on The CW

In season one, Stefan and Damon Salvatore returned to their hometown of Mystic Falls, Virginia, for very different reasons. Stefan was determined to get to know Elena Gilbert, who bears a striking resemblance to Katherine Pierce, the beautiful but ruthless vampire the brothers knew and loved — in 1864. Damon, on the other hand, was intent on releasing Katherine from the tomb where he believed she was trapped by a witch's spell all those years ago. In the explosive season finale, Elena's uncle set a plan in motion that saw the return of the vengeful Katherine Pierce.

In season two, Katherine's appearance and her precise manipulation threw a wrench into the love triangle between Stefan, Elena and Damon, and the other residents of Mystic Falls were forced to choose sides as they fell victim to a new breed of danger. Stefan and Damon were later met with their greatest challenge yet — the arrivals of Elijah and Klaus, two of the “original” vampires. As Klaus goes head to head with Damon and takes a special interest in Stefan, he is also seemingly focused on breaking the “Sun and Moon” curse by sacrificing Elena. Yet no matter what action the brothers take to protect Elena, Klaus won’t be swayed from his mission, proving to be the most powerful vampire in existence.

Season three opens the door to learn more about Klaus and The Original Family as his motives for wanting Stefan on his side are finally revealed. As Stefan sinks deeper into the dark side, Damon and Elena struggle with the guilt of their growing bond even as they work together to bring Stefan back from the edge. The ghosts from Jeremy’s past have a powerful message they’re trying to deliver to him, not to mention the impact they’re having on his relationship with Bonnie. And as Caroline and Tyler grow closer, a war erupts between their families.

The Secret Circle - Series Premiere at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on The CW

Cassie Blake was a happy, normal teenage girl – until her mother Amelia dies in what appears to be a tragic accidental fire. Orphaned and deeply saddened, Cassie moves in with her warm and loving grandmother Jane in the beautiful small town of Chance Harbor, Washington – the town her mother left so many years before – where the residents seem to know more about Cassie than she does about herself.

As Cassie gets to know her high school classmates, including sweet-natured Diana and her handsome boyfriend Adam, brooding loner Nick, mean-girl Faye and her sidekick Melissa, strange and frightening things begin to happen. When her new friends explain that they are all descended from powerful witches, and they’ve been waiting for Cassie to join them and complete a new generation of the Secret Circle, Cassie refuses to believe them – until Adam shows her how to unlock her incredible magical powers.

But it’s not until Cassie discovers a message from her mother in an old leather-bound book of spells hidden in her mother’s childhood bedroom, that she understands her true and dangerous destiny. What Cassie and the others don’t yet know is that darker powers are at play, powers that might be linked to the adults in the town, including Diana’s father and Faye’s mother – and that Cassie’s mother’s death might not have been an accident.

Big Hair Alaska - Special Premieres September 20 at 10 PM & 10:30 PM (ET/PT) on TLC

1. After being out of the salon for the past couple of months, Jessica is transitioning from taking care of her daughter, who almost died in a sledding accident, to being at the salon fulltime. She picked an insanely busy week to come back. On Saturday the salon will be packed with 4 Brides and their bridal parties along with their normal weekend clientele. Jessica realizes that the salon itself is in need of a makeover as she almost falls in one of the bathrooms due to the flooring being torn up and in need of repair. She asks her dad to come to the rescue but he is slammed with his own business and is unsure if he can get to her bathroom before the big Bridal Saturday. Jessica also catches up with a client that almost lost her son to a Grizzly Bear Attack and another client that makes a living as a Sarah Palin impersonator.

2. Jessica is in need of another stylist. Not an easy of a task to do while living in a small town in Alaska. Jessica casts a wide net to find the perfect person to fit the tight-knit staff of the Beehive. She whittles it down to 2 stylists that compete in a "cut-off" to see who will procure a chair at the coveted salon. The staff must pull together as they try to manage the chaos as the local Roller Derby teams come in for makeovers. The Roller Derby girls are loud and raucous and start to practice in the salon right before Jessica kicks them out. A native Alaskan mom has not been in the salon in over 3 years and comes in for a new look. Culturally this is a huge decision and she struggles with the idea of a single hair being cut, much less 6 inches!
